Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate basic care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
- Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and fall prevention measures
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and resident interactions
- Support a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for every resident
- Collaborate with the care team to promote residents' well-being and comfort
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification (required)
- Current state certification or ability to obtain Pennsylvania certification
- Comfortable working 8-hour shifts and providing hands-on patient care
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-first attitude
- Willingness to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamental clinical skills for assisting with ADLs
- Basic infection control and safety practices
- Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
- Teamwork and effective communication with nurses and support staff
- Empathy, patience, and strong observational skills
