Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful care to patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Safely transfer and ambulate patients, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Monitor and report changes in patients’ condition and vital signs to nursing staff
• Document care provided clearly and promptly according to facility policy
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of California
• Comfortable working overnight (07:00 PM - 07:00 AM) and handling typical CNA duties
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or required where applicable
• Ability to pass required background checks, TB screening, and any facility health requirements
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and safe transfer skills
• Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
• Infection control and safe use of PPE
• Clear, timely documentation and communication with the care team
• Teamwork, time management, and adaptability in busy clinical settings
