Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on therapy to empower patients in their daily living skills
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create personalized treatment plans
Monitor patient progress and celebrate every milestone achieved
Educate families and caregivers to extend the impact of your care
Adapt interventions to meet unique patient needs and goals

Qualifications

Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license
Current state licensure in New Mexico
BLS certification preferred
enthusiasm for helping patients regain independence

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Strong therapeutic techniques and patient assessment skills
Excellent communication and empathy in patient interactions
Proficiency with adaptive equipment and functional training
Team collaboration and problem-solving abilities
