Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to long-term care residents, assisting with ADLs and daily routines
• Monitor and document resident conditions and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe mobility and fall-prevention practices to protect residents
• Assist with mealtime, personal hygiene, and comfort measures with dignity and respect
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
• Follow facility protocols and infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) required
• Must be Prometric-certified (Prometric certification is mandatory)
• Experience or interest in Long-Term Care (LTC) settings is highly desirable
• Ability to work rotating shifts and every weekend as scheduled
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; reliable and resident-focused

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and basic resident care
• Knowledge of long-term care routines, safety, and infection control
• Comfortable with resident documentation and clear communication with clinical staff
• Ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm in a busy LTC environment
• Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to resident dignity
