Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Support safe mobility and transfers while following proper body mechanics
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Document care activities and observations accurately and timely
Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care plans
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Active/state CNA registry or eligibility to register in New Mexico
Basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willingness to obtain
Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused with strong communication skills
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and meet facility health requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with patient transfers and ADL assistance
Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and reporting
Strong infection control and PPE practices
Good verbal and written communication with patients and team members
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
Attention to detail for accurate documentation and following care plans
