Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to promote dignity and independence
• Assist nursing staff with patient transfers, mobility, and safe positioning
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Perform timely and accurate documentation to keep patient records current
• Support a clean and safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families through respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) required
• Active authorization to work in New Mexico or ability to obtain required state registration
• Comfortable and experienced working night shifts
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care techniques and activities of daily living
• Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
• Understanding of infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and support staff
• Physical stamina and the ability to respond calmly in busy situations
