Shift Type: Days not specified, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM Day shift (AP)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding) with dignity and compassion
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent injury
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, patients and families to coordinate care
Ensure infection control standards and a clean, safe environment for patients
Help create a warm, respectful experience for every patient — small acts matter

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
State registration or licensure as applicable for New Mexico
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable with patient lifting/transfer techniques and safe body mechanics
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

Practical knowledge of basic nursing care and patient hygiene
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with ADLs (activities of daily living) and mobility assistance
Basic charting/documentation skills and attention to detail
Infection control practices and PPE use
Compassionate patient-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
