Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition promptly
Support mobility and safe transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Assist nursing staff with care plans and carry out assigned tasks with attention to detail
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and the care team

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) required
Comfortable working a long day shift (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM) and providing physical patient care
Ability to pass any facility-required background checks and health screenings
Strong communication and teamwork skills; a caring attitude is essential

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care skills including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting assistance
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Knowledge of infection control practices and safe patient handling
Good observational skills and the ability to report clinical changes
Patient-centered communication and compassionate bedside manner
