Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
• Take and record vital signs, and promptly report changes in condition to the team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation to support safe, coordinated care
• Collaborate with nurses and therapists to follow care plans and ensure continuity
• Create a warm, safe environment that promotes resident comfort and wellbeing

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant credential required
• Active CNA certification in New York strongly preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required or willing to obtain
• Demonstrated compassion and effective communication with residents and families
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to varying schedules

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong fundamentals in patient care and safety
• Comfortable with vital sign measurement and basic clinical observations
• Infection control best practices and attention to cleanliness
• Clear, respectful verbal and written communication
• Teamwork mindset and willingness to collaborate with clinical staff
