Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with 1 weeknight call per week and 1 weekend call per month (Friday evening through Monday morning)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub and monitor hemodynamics during cardiac and interventional procedures
Assist with conscious and moderate sedation under RN supervision
Manage airway support and respond to cardiac drips including Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors
Operate balloon pumps and support complex coronary, vascular, peripheral, and neuro interventions
Collaborate with the Lead Tech to ensure smooth room assignments and case flow
Provide compassionate care while maintaining procedural excellence in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

ARRT certification required
Current California Fluoroscopy license
BLS certification
Minimum one year of recent Cath Lab experience
Comfortable with conscious sedation, airway management, and hemodynamic monitoring
No RCIS or CCT accepted in place of ARRT

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro interventions
Experience with STEMI cases and emergent procedures
Strong understanding of procedural processes and cardiac medications
Ability to work collaboratively in a two-tech model (scrub and monitor)
Comfortable with balloon pump support and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
