Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and the cath lab team during procedures such as LHC, RHC, PCI and Shockwave
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot devices including Impella, IABP and ventilator equipment
• Prepare and maintain GE imaging equipment and ensure procedure readiness
• Monitor patients intra-procedurally and communicate changes to the team promptly
• Document procedures, findings, and patient care in Meditech EMR accurately and timely
• Maintain sterile technique, inventory, and equipment cleanliness to ensure patient safety
• Collaborate with RNs and physicians to optimize patient flow and procedural outcomes

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience (explicit requirement)
• Hands-on experience with Impella, IABP and ventilators (must-have)
• Demonstrated competency with procedures such as LHC, RHC, PCI, PPM and Shockwave
• Familiarity with GE imaging equipment and Meditech EMR
• Preferred: vascular/peripheral intervention experience and EP experience

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of cardiac cath lab procedures and instrumentation
• Skill operating and troubleshooting Impella and IABP circulatory support devices
• Experience managing ventilators in procedural settings
• Ability to work independently while communicating clearly with multidisciplinary teams
• Comfort with GE imaging systems and electronic charting in Meditech EMR
• Strong situational awareness and rapid decision-making during procedures
