Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare the cardiac cath lab and ensure all GE imaging equipment and supplies are ready for procedures
• Assist physicians during LHC, RHC, PCI and device cases such as PPM and Impella placement
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic support devices including Impella and IABP
• Manage ventilator support when required and collaborate with the care team for patient stability
• Document procedures, flowsheets and patient care accurately in Meditech EMR
• Ensure strict infection control, instrument processing and safe sterile technique
• Provide compassionate patient education and peri-procedure support to patients and families
• Troubleshoot equipment and escalate issues to biomedical or leadership promptly

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years cath lab experience (explicit requirement)
• Demonstrated experience with Impella, IABP and ventilator management (must have)
• Comfortable with procedures such as LHC, RHC, PCI, shockwave and PPM
• Preferred: vascular/peripheral intervention and EP experience
• Ability to work independently with a great attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Current credentials and any facility-required certifications as applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience in cardiac catheterization lab procedures (LHC, RHC, PCI)
• Proficiency with Impella and IABP device setup and monitoring
• Familiarity with pacemaker (PPM) procedures and post-procedure care
• Experience with vascular/peripheral interventions and shockwave technology
• Electrophysiology (EP) exposure is a strong plus
• Comfortable using Meditech EMR and GE imaging/equipment
• Ventilator management and basic critical care monitoring
