Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist with and prepare for invasive cardiac procedures in the cath lab
• Operate and maintain GE imaging equipment and ensure sterile setup
• Monitor patient vitals and provide 1:1 patient care during procedures
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in MacLab and Meditech
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs and techs to deliver safe, efficient care
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-procedure care
• Adhere to unit policies, sterile technique, and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or cardiac-related clinical experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proven Cath Lab experience and familiarity with invasive cardiac procedures
• Comfortable using MacLab and Meditech; experience with GE equipment is a plus
• Willingness to work day shifts and be available for on-call night coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with MacLab and Meditech EMR systems
• Familiarity with GE imaging equipment and cath lab technology
• Skilled in invasive cardiac procedures and cath lab workflows
• Strong critical thinking and 1:1 patient monitoring skills
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Ability to follow sterile technique and unit-specific policies
