Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-focused nursing care in a long-term care setting
• Assess resident needs and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate high-quality care
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate changes in condition
• Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (license verification required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience working in long-term care settings preferred
• Ability to complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
• Must be able to complete required health screenings: Fit Test, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Trinity 10-panel drug screen, respirator evaluation, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 and influenza vaccination or documented medical/religious exemptions, and physical/health statement
• Successful completion of Trinity color vision screening where required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of long-term care best practices and resident-centered care
• Medication administration and documentation proficiency
• Infection control, PPE use, and immunization requirements
• Good clinical assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills
• Clear communication and teamwork with nursing and clinical staff
• Comfort with facility-specific competency testing and electronic documentation
