Roles & Responsibilities

Drive financial management and hit productivity targets with smart staffing
Lead human resources efforts to boost employee satisfaction and development
Champion quality improvement and regulatory compliance for top-notch patient care
Oversee image quality control and enforce key policies across the department
Supervise Lead and Senior Technologists while collaborating with nursing and clerical teams
Act as a liaison to solve problems and promote patient-centered care
Maintain clinical competencies to jump in on diagnostic procedures when needed
Evaluate departmental functions and keep leadership informed on service levels

Qualifications

Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) from California Department of Health Services or ARRT license
Current CPR Certification
Five years experience as a Diagnostic Technologist in acute-care
Two years supervisory experience in acute-care
Desired: Certification in specialized area like NMTBC or MRI

Education

Minimum: Associate Degree
Desired: Three to five years prior supervisory/managerial experience

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in Joint Commission, Title 17 & 22, ACR compliance
Strong grasp of radiographic principles, radiation protection, and quality assurance
Self-motivated with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Proven leadership to motivate, delegate, and analyze effectively
Ability to monitor resources and recommend allocations for imaging services
