Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care in the ICU during night shifts
• Monitor and manage complex, acutely ill patients using advanced assessment and critical thinking
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Operate and troubleshoot critical-care equipment and assist with ventilator management as needed
• Document timely and accurate patient information in the electronic medical record and complete required Prime competency exams
• Float between ICU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg units as staffing needs require, maintaining flexibility and professionalism
• Participate in unit safety initiatives and maintain compliance with required health screenings and vaccinations

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (Nursys verification listed)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS and DCI/BVP certifications as listed for the role
• Critical care/ICU experience — comfortable managing high-acuity patients
• Willingness to work night shifts and to float between ICU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg
• Successful completion of required screenings (drug screen, TB, immunizations) and Prime exams/skills checklist

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) — active RN license required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical-care assessment and intervention skills
• Telemetry and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Familiarity with Med-Surg principles for safe floating between units
• Effective communication and teamwork during high-stakes situations
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex patients overnight
• Comfortable using electronic health records and completing competency testing
