Shift Type: Per diem nights, 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM (Night shift; schedule varies and may include weekends)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care in the ICU during night shifts
- Monitor and manage complex, acutely ill patients using advanced assessment and critical thinking
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Operate and troubleshoot critical-care equipment and assist with ventilator management as needed
- Document timely and accurate patient information in the electronic medical record and complete required Prime competency exams
- Float between ICU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg units as staffing needs require, maintaining flexibility and professionalism
- Participate in unit safety initiatives and maintain compliance with required health screenings and vaccinations
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (Nursys verification listed)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS and DCI/BVP certifications as listed for the role
- Critical care/ICU experience — comfortable managing high-acuity patients
- Willingness to work night shifts and to float between ICU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg
- Successful completion of required screenings (drug screen, TB, immunizations) and Prime exams/skills checklist
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) — active RN license required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical-care assessment and intervention skills
- Telemetry and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Familiarity with Med-Surg principles for safe floating between units
- Effective communication and teamwork during high-stakes situations
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex patients overnight
- Comfortable using electronic health records and completing competency testing
