Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in an assisted living/long term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to orders
- Perform resident assessments and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident wellbeing
- Support infection control practices and ensure resident safety
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility as needed
- Complete required competency testing and facility-specific trainings
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to coordinate care
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be valid and verifiable)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience or comfort working in long term care and assisted living environments
- Ability to complete License/Certificate Verification and Trinity competency testing
- Must complete required health screenings: Fit Test, 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot), and Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen
- Completion of Trinity Respirator Evaluation and Trinity Color Vision check as required
- Up-to-date immunizations/records: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, Influenza vaccine
- Valid physical/health statement on file

- Skill in resident assessment and long term care nursing practices
- Medication administration and documentation proficiency
- Infection control and safety-minded approach
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and families
- Ability to follow care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Comfort with facility-specific competency testing and protocols
- Attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping and compliance
- Adaptability to varied per diem schedules and unit needs
