Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to long-term care and PACE participants, putting dignity and comfort first
- Perform thorough nursing assessments and monitor participants for changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document according to policy
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams including social work, therapy, and primary care providers
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure regulatory and facility compliance
- Participate in care planning and educate participants and families to support independence and health goals
- Support emergency response and follow infection control protocols to keep participants and staff safe
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- License/Certificate verification required
- Immunizations and health screenings required (e.g., COVID-19 vaccine, influenza vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap)
- 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-spot) and annual TB questionnaire
- Trinity 10-panel drug screen, Trinity Color Vision, Trinity Latex Allergy Questionnaire, and Fit Test as required
- Comfort working in long-term care/geriatric settings and collaborating with PACE programs
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical judgment skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Geriatric and long-term care nursing principles
- Medication administration and IV/med safety practices
- Patient assessment and care planning
- Infection prevention and control
- Electronic health record documentation
- Team-based care and interdisciplinary communication
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and adapt in per diem roles

This is a travel/contract position in Indiana — exact city TBD — so you’ll have the chance to explore whatever region you’re placed in. Depending on location, enjoy nearby attractions like Indianapolis’s museums and cultural scene, the scenic Indiana Dunes and Lake Michigan shoreline in the north, hiking and fall colors at Brown County State Park, historic downtowns and local festivals, unique architecture in Columbus, or charming small-town dining and farmers markets.
