Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of Quality Management & Accreditation and Risk Management programs
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and accreditation standards
• Lead accreditation activities and serve as subject matter expert for interpreting accrediting body standards
• Oversee infection prevention and control, employee health screening, patient safety, credentialing, and compliance efforts
• Integrate quality improvement across clinical and non-clinical divisions using PDSA cycles and SQM concepts
• Collaborate with EHR staff to incorporate quality measures and develop meaningful performance reports
• Investigate complaints and produce actionable summaries and recommendations for executive leadership
• Supervise, mentor, and build high-performing teams through effective communication and performance management

Qualifications

• RN license or comparable clinical degree required
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) required within 18 months of hire
• Master's degree in a health-related or business field preferred
• Minimum five years of healthcare administration or performance improvement management experience
• Minimum three years supervising healthcare professionals
• Proven leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills

Education

• RN license or comparable clinical degree (required)
• Master's degree in a health-related or business field (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep knowledge of quality and performance improvement strategies and processes
• Familiarity with accrediting agency requirements and regulatory compliance
• Expertise in infection prevention, safety practices, and risk management
• Experience with credentialing processes and patient safety initiatives
• Working knowledge of EHR integration for quality measurement and reporting
• Skilled in program planning, implementation, evaluation, and use of PDSA cycles
• Ability to influence across departments, present to varied audiences, and manage multiple projects under time pressure
