Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts, varied start times (contract dependent)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform scrubbing and circulating duties in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
Assist in a variety of cardiac, vascular, and thoracic cases, including robotic surgeries using Da Vinci XI
Collaborate closely with surgeons, RNs, and the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient procedures
Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments, and equipment
Participate in on-call rotation, maintaining a 30-minute response time

Qualifications

Valid Washington State Surgical Tech license required
BLS certification required (ACLS preferred for RNs, but for techs BLS is fine)
EPIC experience preferred
Robotics experience preferred but not required – willing to train!

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of CVOR procedures and sterile technique
Proficient in scrubbing and circulating for cardiac and vascular cases
Familiarity with robotic surgery systems (Da Vinci XI)
Ability to adapt to varied shift lengths and start times
