Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and support daily needs
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
- Maintain clear, timely documentation to support continuity of care
- Communicate effectively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Support a positive patient experience by treating everyone with dignity and respect
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
- Current certification in the state of California (or eligible to work under state requirements)
- Comfortable working per-diem/day shifts and flexible scheduling
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to complete required onboarding steps such as background check and immunizations
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Infection control practices and patient safety standards
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Teamwork, time management, and professional communication
