Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care during the night shift
• Perform focused patient assessments and promptly communicate changes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Provide clear, supportive education to patients and families
• Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation and shift reports
• Respond quickly to emergencies and escalate appropriately
• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives on your unit

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure — California licensure preferred
• Experience or training with MST (MST listed as a core skill)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required; advanced certifications a plus
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and managing acute situations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; dependable and patient-centered
• Ability to pass any required background checks and facility onboarding

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and triage with strong critical-thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV/infusion familiarity
• Comfort using electronic health records and documentation best practices
• Patient education and family support in a compassionate manner
• Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
• Familiarity with hospital safety protocols and emergency response
