Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting and ambulation
• Monitor and record patient status and vital signs, promptly reporting changes to the nursing team
• Assist nurses with daily care tasks and treatments to support excellent outcomes
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Document care accurately and communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team
• Demonstrate respect, dignity, and patient-centered care in every interaction

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (California)
• Active CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Previous CNA experience preferred; strong caregiving skills a must
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
• Comfortable with overnight shifts and working as part of a fast-paced team

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of basic patient care practices and infection control
• Comfortable with safe patient transfers and mobility assistance
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic charting and documentation ability
• Compassionate bedside manner and ability to prioritize patient comfort
