RN (Registered Nurse) - PCU

Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 08-03-2026

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and other acute conditions
Monitor and titrate intravenous medications including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to unit protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1-2 years of PCU experience preferred
Ability to pass open book skills exam with 90%
Driver's license required for submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork
Positive attitude and adaptability
Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and drip titration
