Location: Chandler, Arizona

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend and holidays required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Titrate cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine
Monitor telemetry and interpret EKGs for patients with cardiac and neuro conditions
Provide skilled nursing care to post-cath lab, post-vascular, and post-CABG patients
Float between Telemetry, MedSurg, and ICU units as needed, including cross-campus assignments
Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and clinical supervisors to ensure safe patient ratios of 1:3-4
Perform thorough assessments and document patient progress accurately

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required, NIHSS for neuro unit
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
Must pass a Sim Lab on day one of orientation
Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry or cardiac nursing experience
Comfortable floating to various units and campuses within a 9-mile radius

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac drip titration and telemetry monitoring
Strong EKG interpretation skills
Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient populations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficient in using GE monitors and Spectralink phones
