Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, days 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or nights 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology, PCU, and MedSurg patients, including trauma and chemotherapy patients
Monitor hemodynamic status, titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem
Administer chemotherapy and manage side effects with ONS/ONCC training
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, social work, and case managers
Float to MedSurg and PCU units as needed to support team coverage
Engage in hourly rounding to enhance patient experience and outcomes

Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of PCU/MedSurg/Oncology experience
ACLS and BLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification preferred (chemotherapy cert a plus)
Open to first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline, Swan, EV-1000)
Experience with Alaris IV pumps and EPIC EMR
Knowledge of oncology patient care, including chemotherapy administration
Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a positive attitude
