Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Tuesday-Saturday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (with 1-hour lunch)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy services to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and improve quality of life
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home care strategies

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (DPT preferred)
Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in outpatient orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation
Experience with manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescription
Ability to manage a diverse caseload with varying acuity levels
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Time management skills to balance outpatient volume and inpatient coverage
