Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, 12-hour night shifts, schedule varies with weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on MS/Tele units
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 1 (Colorado Springs area)
Manage patient populations including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
Titrate heparin drips as required
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams
Adapt to varying acuity levels and unit assignments

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Prior neuro experience preferred
Willingness to float within a 60-mile radius zone

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and telemetry
Experience with heparin drip titration
Ability to adapt to different units and patient populations
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
