Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide telemetry monitoring and cardiac care for adult and geriatric patients
Titrate and manage drips including Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, and more
Interpret cardiac strips and respond to rhythm changes
Deliver PCU-level care for overflow patients with a 1:3 ratio
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team
Float to support MS and PCU units as needed

Qualifications

Active BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum PCU experience with telemetry proficiency
Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
Experience titrating cardiac drips
Epic EMR proficiency preferred
First-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and telemetry
Proficient in managing titratable drips
Skilled in PCU-level patient assessment
Excellent communication and teamwork
Adaptability to fast-paced, rotating shifts
