Radiation Therapist

Location: Silverdale, Washington

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (warmup shift 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $72 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare treatment room and equipment, ensuring all supplies and setup devices are ready
Accurately deliver prescribed radiation treatments, including patient positioning, imaging, and dose verification
Educate patients on the treatment process and provide compassionate care
Document patient treatments thoroughly in ARIA and Epic systems
Obtain and review port films as prescribed to ensure treatment accuracy

Qualifications

Valid Washington State Radiation Therapist license required at time of submittal
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators
Proficiency with ARIA and Epic electronic medical records
Dosimetry badge must be obtained prior to start (we can provide a spare if needed)

Knowledge & Skills

ARIA radiation oncology software
Varian TrueBeam treatment delivery
Epic EMR system
Patient positioning and immobilization techniques
Radiation safety and dose monitoring
Port film acquisition and review
