Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and X-rays for a diverse patient population in a fast-paced trauma center
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure accurate imaging and patient care
• Operate Philips ipatient 64 and big bore 16 CT equipment with precision and efficiency
• Assist with C-arms in the operating room and support ER, inpatient, and outpatient imaging needs
• Maintain a safe, sterile environment and adhere to all radiation safety protocols
• Hit the ground running as a self-starter in a supportive, well-staffed department

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent CT experience required; first-time travelers welcome!
• Active ARRT certification and California state license (Radiology Tech I or II)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Fluoroscopy permit required through the state of California
• Level II Trauma experience preferred but not required
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and ready to hit the ground running

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in Cerner EMR and Philips CT systems (ipatient 64, big bore 16)
• Strong knowledge of CT and X-ray imaging techniques and protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a high-acuity setting
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient loads
• Understanding of radiation safety and sterile technique
