Location: Tacoma, WA

Start Date: 06-18-2026

End Date: 09-17-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional weekends, holidays, and limited call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and GI procedures
Start IVs and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
Acquire, process, and analyze nuclear medicine images using GE and Phillips equipment
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure quality imaging
Collaborate with radiologists and cardiology ARNPs for specialized studies
Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines

Qualifications

2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Active Washington State license
ARRT-N or NMTCB certification required
BLS certification from AHA
Proficient in EPIC, McKesson PACS, and CVPACS

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and equipment
Skilled in IV insertion and patient care
Knowledge of radiation safety and quality control
Ability to work in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging department
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
