Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide intermediate care for patients with cardiac conditions, including those transitioning from CVICU
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, titrating drips like amio, nitro, and epi as needed
Manage BiPAP/CPAP and oxygen delivery for respiratory support
Collaborate with a dedicated team including hospitalists, intensivists, and cardiologists
Float to units of same or lower acuity as needed, ensuring seamless patient care

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a cardiovascular or intermediate care setting
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Valid driver's license required at submission
Willingness to adhere to facility policies including no artificial nails

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in titrating cardiac drips and managing blood pressure medications
Strong telemetry interpretation skills
Experience with BiPAP/CPAP equipment
Excellent critical thinking and communication abilities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
