Location: Garden City, Kansas

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with 24/7 on-call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee clinical operations and staff in both the Cath Lab and ICU departments
Enhance nursing competency and build a positive unit culture
Provide pre and post procedural care, bedside support, and moderate sedation
Manage patient assignments and ensure safe staffing ratios
Lead quality improvement initiatives and mentor nursing staff
Coordinate call schedules and ensure 24/7 coverage for emergencies

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
At least 1 year of management experience in a clinical setting
1 year of clinical leadership experience required
ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications required (CNO may consider candidates who meet majority)
CRRT competency required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in critical care and telemetry
Proficiency with vasoactive drugs, heparin, IIb/IIIa, and blood products
Ability to titrate drips and manage complex cardiac/respiratory patients
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Knowledge of fluoroscopy license requirements for technical staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
