Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varied shifts, self-scheduling, every other weekend, holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and delivery patients, including high-risk cases
Perform vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and fetal monitoring
Circulate and recover C-section patients
Administer and titrate drips such as Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Float to postpartum and other units as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OB, Neonatology, and Anesthesia available 24/7
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for mothers and newborns

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of Nevada
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience
Proficiency in vaginal exams, internal monitoring, and high-risk labor management
Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred
Ability to work independently and confidently in a fast-paced Level 3 facility

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills
Expertise in high-risk antepartum and intrapartum care
Proficiency in titrating intravenous medications
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to float to different units as needed
