Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts available (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Monitor and titrate drips such as heparin, cardizem, and insulin
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed, supporting the same level of care
Utilize EPIC EMR to document and coordinate patient care

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification preferred; chemo certification a plus
First-time travelers welcome - we'll help you succeed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EPIC charting system
Experience with Alaris IV pumps
Ability to handle chemotherapy administration and monitoring
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Adaptability to work with diverse patient populations
