Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery
Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions with precision and compassion
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth transitions and optimal outcomes
Administer medications and interventions to promote swift recovery
Educate patients and families on post-op care for confident discharges

Qualifications

Active RN license in good standing
Minimum 2 years of PACU or critical care nursing experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong assessment skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced recovery environments

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in post-anesthesia patient monitoring
Proficiency with recovery room protocols and equipment
Excellent communication for patient and team interactions
Ability to handle emergencies with calm confidence
