Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub across neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations with precision and care
Function independently within established protocols to support seamless surgeries
Demonstrate competence in unit tasks assigned by RNs
Exercise sound judgment, tact, and diplomacy while upholding patient confidentiality

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist
Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) specialty experience
BCLS Certification
National Certification (NBSTSA - CST or NCCT - TS-C)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (required for hires post-2009)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient computer and keyboarding skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced CVOR environment
