Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day/Night rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate emergency care in a level IV trauma center
Manage med/surg patients with skill and confidence
Read your own strips on Mindray monitors like a pro
Handle RT equipment including vents, CPAP, and BiPAP
Float seamlessly to med/surg and swing bed areas
Collaborate with ED physicians and charge nurses to save the day

Qualifications

Active RN license in good standing
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
TNCC and PALS preferred for top candidates
Minimum 2 years of ER experience
Previous med/surg experience a must

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

ER experience to handle 10 patients per day
Medsurg expertise for versatile floating
Ability to read tele strips independently
Proficiency with RN RT equipment
Strong assessment skills in a fast-paced environment
