Roles & Responsibilities

Perform all general diagnostic radiographic exams and CT exams with precision and care
Operate CT and X-ray equipment expertly to deliver top-quality images
Prepare and administer contrast media including intravenous injections safely
Maintain quality control and uphold core values, ARRT ethics, and department policies
Support service excellence in Radiology while contributing to patient-centered care

Qualifications

Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) from California Department of Health Services
Approved CPR certification
ARRT and Fluoroscopy permit within 6 months of hire
Desired: Radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certification, ARRT license, California fluoroscopy permit, Advanced CT certification

Education

Two years desired experience in diagnostic x-ray
One year desired experience in CT

Knowledge & Skills

Thorough grasp of cross sectional anatomy, patient care, positioning, radiographic exposure
Expertise in quality assurance, radiation physics, protection, radiobiology
Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Self-motivated with proficiency in CT exams, X-ray equipment, contrast administration
