Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography procedures to deliver precise diagnostic images for physicians
• Prepare and position patients comfortably while minimizing anxiety and ensuring top results
• Administer contrast media safely and maintain IV access with expert care
• Educate patients and provide practical instruction to students and team members
• Apply patient safety principles throughout every procedure, from transport to imaging
• Collaborate on clinical history documentation to support radiologist interpretations

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program with education verification
• 2 years of CT experience to hit the ground running
• ARRT Radiography registration, ARRT Computed Tomography registration, and IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation
• Approved CPR or BLS certification

Education

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program; Education Verification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in computed tomography procedures and diagnostic imaging
• Skilled in radiographic, fluoroscopic, surgical, and portable exams
• Proficient in operating imaging equipment, aseptic techniques, and contrast administration
