Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shifts, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, 12-hour shifts, scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation, floats between units

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care across medical, surgical, and cardiovascular units as a vital flex team member
Manage advanced equipment like Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes with confidence
Float seamlessly to support various departments, ensuring smooth patient flow and safety
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide top-notch care in dynamic settings

Qualifications

Active Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment
BLS certification mandatory, ACLS preferred along with PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, or ENPC
2-10 years of nursing experience to hit the ground running

Education

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Hawaii

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Meditech EMR, Pyxis medication dispensing, wound vac systems, and chest tubes
Flexibility to thrive in medical units, Laulima surgical acute, and cardiovascular areas
Strong assessment and prioritization skills for varying nurse-to-patient ratios
