Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and interpret evaluation results to craft personalized occupational therapy plans for patients from birth to geriatric
• Administer medically prescribed therapy to promote maximum independence and rehabilitation
• Document patient progress in electronic health records and adjust treatment plans for optimal outcomes
• Provide specialty services like custom orthoses, sensory integration, and cognitive treatments
• Lead clinics such as Spinal Cord, Functional, Geriatric, and Assistive Technology programs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and social workers
• Contribute to quality improvement, risk management, and staff education initiatives

Qualifications

• Valid, current, full and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in Arizona or eligible
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Strong orthopedic skills to serve a high volume of ortho patients

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from a school accredited by ACOTE

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in occupational therapy for developmental, cognitive, mental, emotional, and physical disabilities
• Proficiency in orthopedic rehabilitation and specialty services like sensory integration and custom orthoses
• Skilled in electronic health records documentation and treatment planning
• Strong collaboration with rehabilitation teams and healthcare professionals
