Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of 45 FTEs across Plant Operations, Maintenance, and Environmental Services
• Oversee maintenance of utility systems to guarantee uninterrupted heat, steam, power, and oxygen for patient care
• Inspect equipment and enforce preventative maintenance schedules for peak performance
• Champion compliance with NFPA, OSHA, EPA, CMS, and local codes
• Act as a vital liaison with departments to meet their needs and drive action plans
• Foster exceptional customer service through staff training and clear expectations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of personnel management experience
• Willingness to relocate to rural Alamosa, CO
• Knowledge of life safety codes, construction phasing, and environmental services

Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough command of electricity, electronics, plumbing, carpentry, boiler operation, HVAC, and general building maintenance
• Expertise in autoclaving, bio-waste management, and engineering principles
• Ability to detect, repair, and maintain complex equipment and systems
