Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain advanced x-ray, CT, and MRI equipment with precision and care
• Capture high-quality images that aid in accurate diagnoses and patient outcomes
• Administer contrast media and assist radiologists during critical interventional procedures
• Ensure patient safety by monitoring for hazards and explaining procedures clearly
• Transport patients safely and use positioning aids for optimal exam results
• Maintain quality control across all modalities while upholding sterile techniques
• Train radiology students and keep exam areas spotless and welcoming

Qualifications

• Active AART certification
• Experience in X-ray, CT, and MRI modalities
• Current state licensure where required
• Commitment to patient safety and departmental standards

Education

• AART certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in x-ray equipment operation and fluoroscopy
• Skilled CT scanner operation and contrast media administration
• Proficient MRI equipment handling and patient screening for safety
• Strong quality control practices across all imaging areas
• Patient transport and sterile technique mastery
