Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour rotating shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, must work 4 weekend shifts per schedule (Friday-Saturday for nights, Saturday-Sunday for days), holidays required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform remote surveillance of cardio-pulmonary rhythms for up to 60 patients across multiple locations
Accurately recognize and record cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias using cutting-edge IT technology
Take swift action to notify RN staff of critical changes following strict protocols
Follow communication channels for routine and emergency situations to improve patient outcomes
Contribute to department metrics in a high-tech virtual hospital command center

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience, 3 years preferred
Graduation from accredited program including EKG Interpretation
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam (lethal rhythms pass/fail, one chance only)
Available for 2-3 day shift orientation if on nights

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in remote surveillance and recognizing cardiac rhythms
Proficient EKG interpretation and arrhythmia identification
Strong protocol adherence and communication in high-stakes environments
Familiarity with GE and Ascom monitor equipment a plus
