Shift Type: Night shifts, 12-hour, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional post-surgical care on a 20-bed telemetry unit
Monitor and manage patients with telemetry needs using state-of-the-art equipment
Collaborate with PT/OT, case managers, hospitalists and surgeons for seamless discharges
Perform daily patient rounding to ensure top satisfaction and safety
Handle orthopedics, neuro, urology and other surgical recoveries with confidence
Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining 5:1 patient ratios

Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS/ACLS certifications required
Over one year of nursing experience preferred
Experience in med/surg telemetry nursing

Education

RN degree from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking skills
Ability to work in fast-paced surgical environments
Relief charge nurse capabilities
Familiarity with equipment like CPM, T-stat and wound vac
Friendly communication with patients and multidisciplinary teams
