Location: Bismarck, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, every third weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to patients from neonatal to geriatrics across the facility
Manage ventilators including PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and Airvo systems
Collaborate with physicians and nurses to make critical clinical decisions
Cover all areas: ICU, NICU, surgical, medical, cardiac, and Level II trauma
Independently assess and adjust treatment plans for optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active ND state license as a Respiratory Therapist
RRT or CRT credential required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Must have NICU experience
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ventilator management with various brands (Airvo, PB 840/980, Hamilton C1, MR1, V-60)
Experience in Level II trauma, ICU, and NICU environments
Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs
