Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate telemetry nursing care to assigned patients during overnight shifts
Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to alarms and changes in patient status
Perform thorough patient assessments and prioritize interventions based on clinical findings
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy per orders and facility policy
Communicate clearly and professionally with multidisciplinary team members and families
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record

Qualifications

Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license for California required
Telemetry experience or comfort with cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
Excellent assessment, communication, and prioritization skills
Ability to work overnight shifts and function effectively in a fast-paced environment

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
Acute nursing assessment and early recognition of patient deterioration
Medication administration and IV therapy competence
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
Effective teamwork, handoff communication, and patient/family education
