Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as a Registered Nurse on the MST team
• Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity
• Document patient status, interventions and outcomes clearly in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans and follow-up
• Respond effectively to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) credential — must hold appropriate state licensure for practice
• Experience or interest in MST (designation listed in core skills)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) preferred where applicable
• Strong clinical assessment and prioritization skills
• Ability to work per diem shifts and adapt to varying schedules
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred when available

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, wound care, medication administration and documentation
• Familiarity with care planning and care coordination across teams
• Comfortable using electronic health records and standard clinical tools
• Culturally sensitive patient interactions and trauma-informed care approach
• Good time management and the ability to triage tasks in a busy environment
